ACTIVE PRACTICAL LOVE

Created by Dr Tessabella Lovemore PhD

led by Julie Lam

This course has been designed to help you to develop your capacity to love, and to enable you to love anyone.

Active Practical Love is when you help someone to become who they really are. When you are able to love someone in this way you begin to learn how to free yourself.

Active Practical Love is a collection of 12 lessons. Each of the 12 lessons consists of a theme to raise awareness, exercises to activate a change of consciousness, and some thought-provoking homework to keep you on track.

Active Practical Love is a healing force that can become the love we experience in all our relationships. It is the highest action of love that can change our basic beliefs and behaviour. It is a rare and heart-opening opportunity, strengthening love in yourself and in your relating with others.

Active Practical Love has a freeing effect. When you are able to love someone unconditionally and unreservedly you remove or loosen the constraints that hold them in a defensive position. So, being loved in this way, the other is set free to develop.

“When I discovered that the capacity to love could be developed, I found that the people I practised my love on began to change in ways that I could not have imagined. Each person that I practised this active loving on changed me too. I felt as if the act of loving gave me deep understanding, and I expanded into someone more able to love”
